Early architectural work describing the use of aqueducts and fortifications. Title loosely translates to “The Science of Engineers in the Conduct of Works of Fortifications and Civil Architecture”. While missing the fold out plates, the frontispiece is a gorgeous engraving by “Rigault inv et sculp”. Great documentation of the technicques used in civil engineering during that long 18th Century.
