For sale is a Macintosh PowerBook G3 model M4753 assembled in 1998 in Taiwan.  I can't tell if it's a PDQ or a Wallstreet.  It comes equipped with a 4.5GB hard drive, 320MB RAM (new 256MB chip), and CD drive.

This was the last PowerBook to include a serial connection.  It also has a SCSI connection.  It can boot natively into OS 8/9 and OS X, which makes it a great bridge Mac.  Only 8.6 is offered on this model currently, but the buyer can install 9 or X.

The hard drive is 4.5GB but holds less due to formatting.  Currently, OS 8.6 is loaded.  The computer comes equipped with a CD drive in the right bay.  I have tested it working.  The left bay contains a battery that doesn't hold a charge as far as I can tell.  See the photograph of the hardware screen for more information along with a CD (not included) in the background.  The computer has Apple Works 5 and FileMaker on it.  There may be other software.

Overall, the condition appears okay given its age.  See photographs for condition.  There is a crack in the plastic outer cover over the display.  The computer is dirty and has many scuff marks and some residue.  I don't have an extra power cord, but old OEM and generic adapters are readily available online.

Being old and electronics, this is sold as-is and no returns are accepted.
