Good used condition. There are minor usage marks on the lens and some dust inside (like all used lenses!) but none of this will effect image quality. Filter ring is slightly damaged, but I never use filters on lenses this long, so it has never been a problem for me. Focus ring turns smoothly. Aperture works as it should.

Comes with front and rear caps.

Manual focus can take a little practice if you are not used to it, but is easy once you get the hang of it. The focus peaking and focus magnify features included in all Sony e mount cameras make it simple to get manual focus bang on every time.

eBay is full of people selling old photographic gear that they have "found in the loft" or are "selling for a relative". A high percentage of these will have missing parts, stuck apertures, mold/haze/fungus in lenses or other faults. Don't take a chance on untested equipment, buy from someone who knows what they are talking about and has used and tested the kit they are selling!

NOTE: Some posters on photo forums are saying that some adapters are not fitting correctly onto some full frame MK 2 cameras. I only have an a7 (and a6000), so can't test on others cameras. There seems to be a lot of confusion with as many people saying that they is not a problem as people saying that there is!!
