Up for sale is a fantastic pair of brogues from Edward Green. They are the "Ullswater" model, and they are one of the best looking longwing brogues out there. They are made in Northampton, to the highest standard as expected by Edward Green - better than Lobb or Crockett and Jones for sure.

This pair is made from a fantastic navy country calf, and hand dyed after construction by artisans. A subtle burnish can be seen on the toe and heel. They are, of course, goodyear welted, and feature a subtle storm welt to improve waterproofing and durability. The storm welt on this pair is actually finished and rounded- something that I haven't seen any other brand do! Just shows that they take every detail seriously! The country calf is incredibly soft and high quality, giving the wearer maximum comfort.

The last is the fantastic 202 last, in a "D" width. With Edward Green, D, E, and F are all standard widths, while D is slightly more narrow, and F is slightly wider. This pair, I would say, is in line with Crockett and Jones 8.5, on the 348, 358, 360, and 341 lasts, and 8 in 337 or 363 lasts. They do fit slightly snug as is usual with Edward Green. It just depends what you normally wear!

They are firsts and not subs, so they are retailing for £980, unlike other Edward Green shoes on eBay!

The dainite sole used allows for exceptional grip and durability. These shoes are ready for 30 years of wear.

Edward Green Shoe trees can be added for £70, please message to arrange this.
