Signed and dated antique Japanese Wakizashi sword in Shirasaya mountings

Appealing Points: 

  • Year 1793 made antique Japanese sword in excellent condition.
  • The blade is signed and Ura-nenki dated.  They are nicely chiseled.
  • The blade is finely polished and is in excellent condition.
  • The blade is well forged and has beautiful forging grains.
  • Hamon temper lines are beautiful with Nie crystal auras.
  • Habaki collar is nicely designed.

Condition: 

The blade is finely polished and is in excellent condition with some minor flaws and scratches, which are not fatal.  Shirasaya fitting is not lacquered but is in good condition with normal wears seen in items of this age.  Habaki collar rattles a bit.  Sold as-is.

● Please note that the above information is based on Japan Post’s service, which we are using, and some countries are defined differently from eBay’s system.  Some examples include Russia and Israel, both of which are included in Asia in the eBay’s shipping calculation but are classified differently in the above information.  In such cases, the above information supersedes the eBay’s shipping calculation.

● We will let you know the tracking number via email right after the item is shipped out.

● We will ONLY ship to the (confirmed) address specified in PayPal.

● We don't hold a purchased item but need to ship it in our promised handling time of one day as required by eBay.
