Yamaha 02r OS v2.16 EPROM Firmware Upgrade SET

• This upgrade version v2.16 is the latest upgrade released by Yamaha in conjunction with TC Electronic for the 02R unit.
• Included will be 2 new ROM chips to complete the upgrade.

Keep in mind that the 02r itself is not for sale, only the EPROM upgrade chips will be supplied.

This upgrade is only compatible with the 02r and not the older 02r96.

• This OS upgrade was originally released with the TC Electronic UNIT-Y slot card however the card is not needed to take advantage of the new options offered with the v2.16 upgrade.
• There are far too many updates and changes included in this upgrade to list. If requested, I can e-mail you copies of both individual TC Electronic and Yamaha V2 manuals for your personal reference.

Printed documentation will be included with this upgrade to assist you with the upgrade process as well as bits of what to expect. I find this to be quite useful and informative.

Be sure to take note of the marked orientation notch on the side of the EPROM to ensure correct installation. EPROMS inserted backwards will be destroyed. Incorrect insertion of ICs is also likely to cause damage to the board.

All EPROM upgrades have been prepared in an ESD-safe production environment and will be packaged in equally ESD-safe materials.
