Wakefieldite-(La) FROM Bellerberg, Ettringen, Eifel Mountains, Germany
This is a very complex REE mineralization from Bellerberg vulcano. The specimen features yellow crystal group of wakefieldite-(La) and apatite-(CaF) with Monazite core. Wakefieldite-(La) is a lanthanum-vanadate, which is unfortunately not possible to distinguish from apatit-(CaF). With the speciemen I can provide a german language article including SEM micrographs about this unique mineralization.
