Peak Supps Essential Amino Acids (EAA) powder blend consists of 9 amino acids. EAA cannot be produced or created by the body. They need to be sourced through diet or supplements. For this reason, they are considered to be ‘essential’ amino acids. Our EAA blend contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. Peak Supps EAA include amino acids such as Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Lysine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Histidine, Methionine and Tryptophan.
Our EAA blend includes the popular amino acids that form Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA). A 15g serving of our EAA blend provides you with 5g of the muscle building amino acid Leucine. EAA provide you with a number of amino acids, considered the building blocks of protein. EAA has zero carbohydrates and zero fat great for those on strict diets (e.g. Ketogenic / Low carb / Low fat diets).
As a food supplement we recommend consuming 15g with your preferred amount of water or fruit juice. The 15g can be taken in one serving before training. Or the 15g serving can be split into two 7.5g servings before training (preworkout) and after training (postworkout).
Essential amino acids has an unpleasant taste. We recommend mixing it with fruit juice or squash to try and override the taste.
