Frette has, since its beginnings in the 1860s, supplied linens to luxury hotels around the world, from historical Italian establishments like the Danieli in Venice to the Ritz  in Paris and Claridge's  in London. If you were aboard the Orient Express back in day, you’d be dining on Frette tablecloths. Frette linens graced the bedrooms and dining rooms in the Peninsula in Hong Kong and Raffles in Singapore, and were the official linen of choice to the Italian royal family too. Due to customer demand – that feeling of waking up in crisp hotel sheets often elicits people to ask – the company eventually began opening its own retail boutiques, and now offers both off-the-shelf ranges and tailor-made linens to clients worldwide.
