This auction is for a Left Handed 1997 Fender USA Stratocaster body that I have owned from new. I purchased this item during August 1997 when I was 20 years old and had plenty of time to play (those were the days!). The body is in fantastic condition considering it is 20 years old, this is because the guitar was always kept in a hard case when it was not being played and was also left relatively untouched for ten of its twenty years.

This is probably one of the best examples of a 90's strat body out there. It has such a beautiful grain and if it wasn't for one tiny surface scratch near the heel it would be classed as mint condition. There is no buckle rash and the body has retained its beautiful bright sunburst in all of its glory (I paid £50.00 extra in 1997 to get my hands on a 'premium' sunburst).

Please note that one of the photos shows the body with hardware and a loaded deluxe pick guard. These items are not included in this auction but will be listed separately as will the 1997 maple neck that came with this body.
