Spider mite killer sachets contain the predatory mite; Amblyseius californicus This predatory mite feeds on spider mite and other mites. It is active at temperatures from 6.c upwards and is supplied in slow release sachets that release predators for up to four weeks.

Amblyseius californicus generalist predator which can also feed on pollen and other arthropods, so can be introduced before the spider mite is observed or early after it is spotted on plants. This can enable early control of spider mite populations. The sachets are supplied with mini hooks so that they can be hung on plants to release the predators.

Each sachet contains about 250 predatory mites, which breed and multiply in the sachet to release hundreds of predators for a period of up to four weeks. Spider mite killer sachets can be used on many different crops and plants.

Hang sachets on plant stems, branches, twigs Sachet is already open and will start releasing predators once hung out Apply before or early after seeing spider mite on plants Can be used in temperatures from 6.c and upwards Sachets will release predators for up to 4 weeks Predators feed on spider mite and Carmine mite Can be used on many different crops including soft fruit, fruit trees, ornamentals, cucumbers and tomatoes In very warm conditions or when spider mite populations are very high, it maybe required to also apply the predator; Phytoseiulus persimilis , which is more efficent at higher temperatures but cannot be introduced in cooler conditions or before the spider mite appears.
