Porter Sewing CC is a Disabled US Army Infantry Veteran owned small business. We are a husband and wife team with 3 young children operating out of our own home. Because of his medical conditions, neither of us can work a “normal” or “regular” job and must come up with innovative ways to provide for our family. We started in 2008 by providing quality custom sewing and embroidery services at reasonable prices, later bought a motorcycle leather and accessory shop going out of business and have most recently expanded to selling quality self defense products on the world wide web.

We do not drop ship, we do not list items we would not use, and we do not sell any item that we could not carry on a conversation about. We purchase wholesale lots of items that we think we can sell and have them delivered to our home. We examine, compare and test these items. We look at them for what they are meant to be (light duty knife, premium leather jacket, instinctive self defense tool etc...) and if they do not gain our confidence, we will not sell them to you.
If you have questions about any product we sell, please ask. And if you find any of your purchased items to be defective or feel that they were grossly misrepresented on our part, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to make it right.
Payment Instructions:
Please pay for your order via PayPal at your earliest convenience. Buy it now items require immediate payment, auction items must be paid within 4 business days.
We must assess a 7% sales tax to Indiana resident end-users on all New items that have not previously had state sales tax collected on.
If purchasing multiple items, add them to your cart and request an invoice and ask for a discount before paying. Discount is dependent on items purchased, quantity, location, and is at our discretion.
Shipping and Handling:
Free domestic shipping on all of our listings. Upgrade your shipping for faster service at calculated rates with no added handling fee.
International orders shipped via USPS Priority Mail International only. Please do not ask us to alter customs forms information, we will not. All customs and import fees are buyer's responsibility. Any such fees incurred by international returns will be subtracted from final return amount.
Items are processed and packaged as they are received, or at our earliest convenience 7 days a week. We ship twice a day, when possible, on normal business weekdays. Orders paid before 2 p.m. (EST) Monday-Friday are shipped out same day at close of business. Orders paid 2 p.m. to midnight MTWT are sent out at open of business next day. Orders after 2 p.m. Fri and on weekends will be shipped at open of business on Mon. Holiday orders are shipped on next postal business day (varies).

If you receive your item and feel it was grossly misrepresented on our part, or it is defective, please contact us immediately.
Returns for any other reason must be in the same condition as received; new, used, unused, unworn, undamaged, with or without tags as stated in the listing and description. Return will be refused if the item is altered, opened (commercial packaging) or damaged in any way by the buyer.
Leather and other garments may be tried on for proper fit. Do not remove tags or protective films (where applicable) until you are sure the garment fits.
Please contact us before initiating a return. We may, at our discretion, forego return shipping and allow you to keep or discard the item and still refund or replace it for you. Single item listings can not be replaced and will be offered full refund only.
