Red Sound DarkStar MK1 OS v1.09 EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT

• This upgrade version 1.09 is the last known firmware update issued by Red Sound for the DarkStar MK1 unit.
• Included will be 1 brand new ROM upgrade chip to complete the upgrade.
• This upgrade is NOT compatible with XP2 series DarkStar units.

Before purchasing, Please verify which DarkStar MK1 revision you have before deciding to purchase this OS v1.09 upgrade:

• First, open the rear access panel and check the pin count of the EPROM socket.
• Simply put – If you happen to have a 32-Pin EPROM socket, the OS v1.09 upgrade will be compatible with your newer revision Darkstar MK1 unit.
• If you happen to have a 28-Pin EPROM socket? Unfortunately OS v1.09 is incompatible with your earlier revision Darkstar MK1 unit.
