It is recommended that you do not clean this product in the dishwasher as this will ruin the product (same with all types of wood). Cleaning instructions would be the following:

1. Wash with Soap and a damp cloth
2. Pass Lemon or Vinegar to kill bacteria
3. Dry with a cloth and do not place in direct sunlight
