Fresh from an estate sale is this beautiful large framed oriental silk tapestry.

I am not sure if this is Japanese or Chinese perhaps those of you who know can let me know.

It is most unusual with all the tiny tiny work that went into creating all these little figures.

They are each depicting a scene... if you study each of the group of figures and people.

The sun is rising at the top, and each little grouping of figures has its own little story.

This is just a very unusual rare and delightful silk embroidery.

The material itself looks to be in excellent condition it has been framed under glass all these years.

The frame is wood ....has some slight rubbings on it. It is meant to look like bamboo.

Even the fabric around the inside border and the outside border are beautiful.
