Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz quad core Socket 775 CPU SLB8V 12M/1333, Yorkfield 95W

Here is a fast quad core Socket 775 CPU from Intel running at 2833 MHz, known as the Core 2 Quad Q9550.  It uses a 1332 MHz front side bus and has a generous 12MB L2 cache, and the "Yorkfield" core.

It uses 45 nanometer traces and draws 95 watts of power.  Further details are below (courtesy of cpu-world.com)

This CPU is not compatible with early socket 775 systems, so please check your system documentation for compatibility.  If you can't find a straight answer, ask me.  I would rather tell you no than waste our time with a return for compatibility reasons.

Also, note that you are purchasing only the CPU as pictured here (but not the exact one).  A CPU cooler (heatsink) is required but not included with this item.  (I do not have them).
