Antique Strongbox w/ Lion Heads Heavy

Circa 1820 iron covered wood strongbox with original paint decoration of green and yellow color. Lid has opposing lion heads with open mouths and scalloped border decoration. A.G. the initials of the owner are found on the front. Likely Indo-Persian British in origin. Possibly military.

Excellent vintage condition.
