There Raim Elettromeccanica is able to offer the complete regeneration service, to be understood therefore both of the mechanical parts and of the electronic ones (control unit, sensor and motor), of all the columns equipped with EPS (Electrically Powered Steering - electric power steering).
This type of intervention is carried out by ordering the Raim Elettromeccanica an item already regenerated (if available) and returning subsequently the defective one. The return (column-EPS group / ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC PUMP), where applicable, must be delivered to the Company no later than 15 (fifteen) days and in recoverable condition, i.e. not rusty and complete as supplied: in the absence of these conditions or in the event of failure to return, a cost will be charged which will be calculated from time to time based on the model in object.
The Company also sells non-regenerated but new items (coming from stock - therefore original - or from other manufacture) for which, therefore, the recovery of the defective return is not foreseen (for more detailed information, consult our technician at 368577090).
For internal organization and product warranty, the Raim Elettromeccanica provides the entire regenerated item rather than the individual items parts affected by the defect (eg. control unit, motor, torque sensor), recognizing one one year warranty starting from the date of billing, both on refurbished and new items (for further details see Warranty).
Guarantee
On all the parts we have regenerated, the sector manager will put a stamp showing the revision date; the stamped date on the carcass will have value during the warranty period which will expire without fail at the end of the twelfth month.
The lack of the hallmark or the forgery of the date will not give the right to any warranty period; will be recognized in warranty for defective goods in details or in manufacturing processes at our sole discretion ex our warehouse.
The guarantee will only materialize in the replacement of the parts recognized by us as defective: any possible ones will not be recognized costs of detachment and refitting, consumables and any consequential damage.
Electrohydraulic - electronic - electromechanical units are rather complicated and fragile, therefore in order to avoid any damage
Our technicians are at your complete disposal, paying attention to the following assembly operations:
• Do not carry out any welding on the vehicle without disconnecting the battery;
• Do not make electrical bridges with one or more batteries causing excessive current surges;
• Do not wash or wet the electronic units with water or other liquids;
• Avoid any contact of the electric groups with mud or earth;
• In case of defective groups whose cause is due to an inadequate acknowledgment of the aforementioned contraindications, it will not come no warranty claims accepted.
