THE KRILL

Perfect nutrition created 130 million years ago…the not so humble krill is the namesake of this extremely successful fishmeal-based bait range. The Krill has yet again been tailored to suit a carp’s dietary requirements through a blend of the freshest, high-quality fishmeals, milk proteins and birdfoods available on the planet! A bait that perhaps has the best track record in recent history.

You can now harness the awesome pulling power of The Krill for surface fishing. Rather than simply re-bagging conventional floating pellets, we’ve innovated a coating process that’s totally unique to Sticky. The result is a floating bait that pulses out attraction, pulling carp into your swim… and holding them there!

Our high-protein pellets are treated to two special coatings that begin to break down as soon as they land in your swim; kicking out soluble attractors, tiny food-particles and fish oils into the water, which stimulate carp into feeding.

The first coating breaks down as soon as the pellets hit the water, releasing food signals and carrying potent fragments of bait across the surface. Then the second coating begins to work, pumping super-soluble attractors into the water column. This two-stage breakdown allows food signals to be carried quickly across the surface, while also penetrating deep into the water column, reaching fish that aren’t on the surface… yet!

The attractive oils that we’ve locked into the baits during the coating process give off an impressive slick as the coatings break down. This acts to flatten off any ripple and attracts carp without the need to carry extra oil for glugging!

As with all of our shelf life baits, this is as close to their freezer bait as possible. There is only one difference between the two mixes, this being the inclusion of a natural preservative to prolong the shelf life of the bait. Far from being detrimental to the bait, this makes the it suitable for a wider customer base. Anyone already using The Krill Freezer Bait knows it’s worth keeping a kilo or two of Shelf Life in the car.

The Krill Shelf Life boilies are available in 12mm, 16mm and 20mm in 1kg bags or 5kg bags.

Based around the same concept as our award winning Bloodworm Pellets, The Krill Pellets now undergo the very same two stage coating process.

The outer coating of The Krill Pellets contains a high level of pure krill meal, so once immersed in water, these particles rise and fall through the water column attracting and drawing fish into the baited area. The second part of the coating slowly releases a deep-orange cloud that clings to the lake bed and oozes natural attraction to hold fish on the baited spot.

Great for use in PVA bags, groundbaits or spod mixes and can also be ‘balled up’ with the addition of a liquid, which makes them ideal for moulding, round a method feeder. For a really effective tip try fishing a Krill Dumbell Wafter over a mix of The Krill Pellet and chopped Krill Boilies. What fish could resist this bed of complete attraction!

The Krill Pellets are available in 2.3mm, 4mm, and 6mm in 900g and 2.5kg bags.

Designed to complement the rest of our Krill range, but an awesome stand along mix to use for bags, sticks, groundbait and spod mixes with any of our baits.

The Krill Active Mix contains high levels of the matching base mix, along with a boosted level of soluble ingredients, which results in a far faster release of attractors than a boiled bait could ever achieve. When submerged in water, the Krill Active Mix really comes to life releasing small food particles that will rise through the water column, drawing fish in and giving them that extra encouragement to feed whilst keeping food items to a minimum.

It contains only the finest ingredients such as: LT-94 fishmeal, crustacean extracts, pure krill meal, krill protein powder and a few of our famous Krill Pellets thrown in for good measure

This product was designed for carp anglers to use for bags and sticks but will appeal to a huge percentage of anglers, whatever their target. No cheap bulking out agents are added to this high quality mix, so if money is tight, it can be cut 50/50 with crumb and still remain a very effective mix. We suggest dampening it down with our Pure Krill Liquid for the ultimate in fish pulling natural attraction.

Harnessing one of the most nutritional micro-organisms known to man, this shrimp-like crustacean has a nutritional profile off the charts and The Krill Powder is 100% pure krill harnessing all of that natural goodness.

Our powder is a pure, premium quality krill meal. Very strong smelling, it makes a fantastic addition to paste, PVA bags, groundbaits, base mix and spod mixes.

Like Shrimp meal, it is quite buoyant, which helps to keep the swim active and the fish searching for more! This really is awesome stuff and a little goes a long way. Being so light makes this an excellent addition to a PVA bag mix when fishing over weed or silt as it will help create a slow-sinking presentation which won’t be dragged into the bottom debris as much.

We also highly recommend this potent powder as an addition to any avid floater fishing armoury. Give your chosen floater pellet a splash of the Cap-Oil, followed by a light covering of the Pure Krill Powder, and we’ re sure you’ll find the results devastating as we have!

It’s safe to say that The Krill range has cemented itself as one of the very best of all time and has racked up countless amounts of captures since it’s creation in 2012, and without sounding too silly, we attribute the great success story to a tiny aquatic-being – the humble krill.

This shrimp-like crustacean has a nutritional profile off the charts and The Krill Clusters are 100% pure krill harnessing all of that natural goodness. Once the krill have been fished for they are initially processed into this pellet like matter that has extremely high levels of both amino-rich proteins and omega-3 fatty acids keeping our quarry fighting fit.

Enough of the science, how do you actually use it – well as mentioned above, it’s comes in the form that is extremely similar to that of damp pellets leaving you countless options of ways to introduce it to your swim.

During testing we stuck to the obvious such as loose-feeding and adding it to PVA bag and spod mixes, however since then we’ve also found great success moulding The Krill Clusters around feeders and leads – this can be done with the product straight out of the bag and doesn’t need anything adding. We’ve even had great reports from our “Speci” team who have been banding the larger pieces and using them as hookbaits for barbell and chub! The options really are endless – all we know is that everything that swims seems to love them!

Due to the nature of this product it will be supplied in 500g aluminium fresh seal pouches to ensure The Krill Clusters are kept in optimal condition.

After receiving the same request time and time again, we finally decided to bow to public demand and release The Krill Hookbait Kit.

As many of you will already be aware, The Krill Freezer Baits are quite soft straight from the bag and aren’t ideal to fish with on the hair for prolonged periods of time. We have absolutely no intention of “fixing” this, as the soft and extremely soluble nature of the bait is, in our eyes, exactly what makes it so effective!

So the solution, enter The Krill Hookbait Kit. This basemix and liquid package is designed to closely match the normal bottom baits, however we have added a natural toughening agent, making this perfect for both hardened hookbaits and cork ball pop-ups without the need to mesh.

Not only does this kit offer a different style of hookbait, it also means you can tweak your hookbaits to make them completely individual and stand out from the rest of your freebies should you wish. We suggest the inclusion of any of our newly released Pure Naturals range as these additives have been carefully selected to work hand in hand with the ingredients in The Krill. We supply usage guidelines for all our Pure Natural range on their packaging – however we feel these can be easily increased for exclusively using in hookbaits.

You may note they come in a slightly lighter colour than the bottom baits but this is no accident, once the bottom baits have been immersed in water they will match the pop-ups perfectly. If you wish to increase attraction further still, then our Krill Bait Glug is available, making a combo we think is irresistible to any carp. Great as singles or fished over any of our Krill products.

Because of our uncompromising stance on bait quality, we produce freezer baits that are fairly soft, which we believe is key to making our baits the very best around.

Because of this, plenty of our customers have asked us for hard hook baits, so that they can fish with confidence where small fish, persistent birds, or crays impact their fishing. Well, we’ve listened, and these special hardened Krill hook baits are the result. They might be super-tough, but crucially they contain all the same liquid and powdered attractants that you’ll find in the Krill freezer baits, so you can fish with just the same levels of confidence that you would if you had an out-of-the-bag bait on!

The Krill Tuff Ones are available in 16mm or 20mm.

As the name suggests, The Krill “White Ones” are striking white pop-ups that offer you a great visual edge when bites are hard to come by fishing their traditional food bait counterpart.

As well as the fluoro colour, these little beauties also have boosted attractor levels to really help them stand out and steal you those extra pick-ups.

The Krill Pink Ones are produced in a bespoke pale pink colour that has taken a long time to perfect; not so bright that the fish might spook but just the right amount to grab their attention.

Designed to replicate our outstanding Krill Boilies, these dumbell-shaped hookbaits will slowly sink under the weight of the hook.

For anyone unfamiliar with the principal, the Krill Wafters perfectly counteract the weight of your rig, leaving a critically balanced bait that will fool even the wariest of carp.

You may note they come in a slightly lighter colour than the bottom baits but this is no accident, once the bottom baits have been immersed in water they will match the wafters perfectly. If you wish to increase attraction further still, then our Krill Bait Glug is available, making a combo we think is irresistible to any carp. Designed to replicate our Krill Boilies, the Krill Dumbells are made using the same base-mix, only with added soluble attractors.

These dumbell-shaped, sinking hookbaits also come with an extra soluble coating to maximise their leakage and attraction.

The Krill Dumbells make an ideal alternative hookbait for fishing over the Krill Active Mix and Krill Pellets. As well as this, they are a superb choice for stalking and short sessions as the fast acting coating maximises the instant attraction of these hookbaits.

Whilst Krill may be the namesake of the range, this devastating paste comprises of a staggering twenty-five different ingredients including a couple of little gems to which we attribute the baits immeasurable success. As much as we love the open and honest approach…we’ve got to have the odd little secret!

Utilising only the finest ingredients, it results in a rich deep-orange fishy paste with a potent aroma. The addition of a natural preservative at the optimum level pro-longs the life of this bait for the angler’s convenience.

This pastes quick breakdown time and fast dispersion of its attractors, ensures maximum fish pulling power. Although this product is designed to wrap around our Krill hookbaits the Krill Paste has a multitude of other applications, whether carp, chub, tench, bream, barbel or roach are your target.

The Bait Spray range has been designed as an alternative attractor to supplement the liquids already in each range. Although we still swear by our Liquid Food and Glug ranges, they aren’t ideal for soaking hookbaits for prolonged periods of time as their heavy weight can dramatically affect the buoyancy of a pop-up or wafter and render your rig mechanics useless.

The new Bait Sprays are a much lighter alternative, that easily absorb in to your chosen hookbait, yet still pack the same punch as their thicker counterpart – so simply grab a tub of hookbaits give them a couple of sprays to seriously boost their attraction!

Made using a blend of liquid food products, paprika oleoresin, pure krill meal and a particularly potent fish protein extract, the thick, sticky liquid really clings to the bait and any hookbaits that are left to soak in the Krill Glug are given a real boost of attraction that will be released over a period of time.

With no synthetic chemicals or flavours added, this pure liquid food glug cannot be overused and many anglers have adopted it to give their freebies added fish pulling attraction.

Though this was formulated for use with our Krill Boilies and hookbaits it can of course be used to turn any bait or mix a bit Sticky!

The Krill Glug is supplied in a 200ml bottle.

What range would be complete without one of our legendary “Cloudys”, so here it is, the Cloudy Krill Liquid.

Made using real fresh krill, this natural liquid presents a combination of highly soluble liquid foods as well as salts and sugars that drive the fish into a feeding frenzy. Once applied to the swim, the Cloudy Krill Liquid creates a hazy cloud that sits close to the lake bed, giving fish the confidence to feed freely.

The Cloudy Krill Liquid perfectly compliments the Krill Active Mix, but we also like to add some Krill Pellets, Krill Powder and crushed Krill Boilies to finish of the mix. Not only is it great for PVA mixes, it also makes the perfect addition to any spod mix to create a haze in your swim. Another great use for any of the “Cloudys” is dampening our Bloodworm Pellets and “balling” them in.

Every now and then a particular product comes along which really has the wow factor. One of these little gems is the Pure Krill Liquid.

There are only a few liquids in the bait game that genuinely stand head and shoulders above the rest in terms of attraction, nutrition and long-term appeal, and Pure Krill Liquid is one of them. The most exciting liquid to hit the fishing scene since L-Zero-30. In fact, looking at it from a scientific point of view, the Pure Krill Liquid edges it due to its incredibly nutrient-rich profile.

After harvesting, krill is milled into a mash and heated up for the hydrolysis (pre-digesting) stage, here enzymes are added to produce a controlled breakdown of the krill into a liquid hydrolysate. It is this enzyme treatment stage which makes the Pure Krill Liquid into a superb, water-soluble liquid protein that is highly stimulatory to a fish’s senses.

There’s an almost endless list of applications for this product for all species. It makes a superb coating/soak for pellets and boilies, it can be added to a PVA bag or stick mix, it can be incorporated into boilies at the mixing stage or added to a spod mix or groundbait.
