Star Wars X-Wing Fighter, Pro-Built Model - Luke Skywalker - R2D2 - Red-Five

This is a custom-built model kit of a Star Wars X-Wing Fighter - RED FIVE. The scale is approximately 1/48 and was built by Award Winning Modeler Craig Tinder. The detail and weathering process depicts a very high standard level of accuracy.

This model includes everything shown in the photos including the base and custom made cockpit details, realistic R2 Unit and more!

Using the finest in modeling techniques and materials, this model will be a key centerpiece in your collection!

Model Features:
- Mounted X-Wing Fighter - with "S-Foils in Attack Position"

- Clear plastic base

- Mold seams sanded and removed

- A masterful blend of both acrylic and oil paints

- Highly accurate airbrushed paint job with correct paint colors
- Photo-etch brass details

Each model includes a Certificate of Authenticity by expert modeler, Craig Tinder.

Cleaning, filling, and polishing was applied to remove mold seams. Base color with primer and putty were added to create a smooth level of surface detail. This model was airbrushed and painted with high-quality modeling acrylics with multiple clear coats applied for a proper base finish. Oil washing enhances the surface detail to increase the appearance of depth. Dry brushing is employed to emphasize and highlight surface textures. Multi-color oil filters are applied to blend color effects and remove 'tonal crush' effects. Fine details are carefully researched and painted for accuracy. Weathering includes an array of subtle effects to simulate soil, grime, and other 'natural' effects. A coat of matte finish varnish seals all of the work to create a lasting model for your collection!
