THIS CUE IS STRAIGHT.
THE FOURTH YEAR OF PREDATOR PRODUCTION, Predator came out with the first two model SP (sneaky pete) cues, the SPW with wooden joint and the SPJ with the steel joint. Both had the 5/16 X 14 joint. Predator did not come out with the Uni-Loc until 2002.

The 2005 Blue Book lists this cue on p. 645: "Level 1 SPJ - Maple forearm four full-spliced rosewood points with four black and green colored veneers.".

The grip is rosewood no wrap. Predator did not offer an SP with a wrap in 1999. The butt has a number of small dings but overall is still a nice cue. The shaft has no dings, is smooth and clean with very very little almost no chalk staining. The 314 over the cat is on the shaft. Predator over the cat in silver is marked on the butt. I grade this cue at 85-90%. The Blue Book shows an MSR (1999) of $345.00 and an 80% grading at 240.00 for 2005. This cue has collector value. You do not see these first model SP's often. The 2005 80% grading of 240.00 translated to today's dollars as 494.41 using the usinflationcalculatordotcom. I am pricing this item generously considering ebay/paypal fees. I have had it in my collection about five years and now I am selling my entire collection of 9-10 years, so I invite you to keep an eye out for my other items. Wayne.
