These speed springs were
used by (Rowe-)AMI starting with the
model F in 1954, and this speed spring, was continued all the way up
through to the last AMI 900 series mechanism models,
such as the
Continental 1 and Continental 2 (1961/1962) and then re-used on the 1100 series mechanisms (Model JAL up to CTI-2 Kentwood console of 1979 - including the most popular R-82 and R-83 models of 1978 and 1979).
The spring slides on to the turntable motor spindle at the exact spot where the idler wheel touches that spindle, and if you have 50 Hz mains voltage (Australia, New Zealand, Europe and most countries and territories around the world) you will then get the correct 45 rpm speed from the turntable deck.

This replacement 50 Hz speed spring, brand new production is rarely available, and is scarcer than rocking-horsh it! It is NOT New Old Stock - it is fresh production.
