All
my lampshades are handmade by myself with traditional rolled edges at the top
and bottom and a single neat seam. The
lining is white fire retardant pvc and is fully compliant with the glow wire
test carried out by The Lighting Association.
It is recommended that low energy bulbs are used, 40 watts or less.
Due
to each shade being made to order the pattern placement can vary slightly but I
will always take the utmost care to give you the best pattern placement I can.

30cm drum: 30cm diameter x 21cm high
35cm drum: 35cm diameter x 21cm high
40cm drum: 40cm diameter x 25cm high
I
make many different shades in a variety of quality, popular and designer
fabrics but would be very happy to make you a shade in your own fabric. I can also supply candle clip, oval shades,
deeper shades and offer a bespoke service.

Delivery
Once
you have placed your order and made payment I will begin making your shade but
please do bear in mind that these are made to order so you should allow up to 3
working days for despatch plus a further 3-4 days for delivery.

My
love of beautiful fabrics led me to take evening classes to learn how to
professionally make roman blinds and curtains which went on to include
lampshades. (I no longer offer a curtain and blind making service due to the very high demand for my lampshade making service).
I
relish a morning browsing those big fat fabric books in little shops I have
discovered here in Surrey and in villages beyond. My order eventually arrives and I can’t wait
to see my newly discovered fabric made into a lampshade!
