Very Rare Vintage GPX 990 Boombox Ghettoblaster radio cassette Jumbo 20cm. These don't come up for sale very often at all and are great classic BIG boomboxes.

Cosmetically it has some flaws, the tuner glass near the top edge is foggy, I'll try to get some nice pictures to reflect the visual appearance.

Little chip out of rear leg see pic. One antenna hold down is chipped and broken see pic. One antenna tip is broken off. Speakers are not original they are vintage Lasonic 931 which sound better IMO. And they have a little yellow spotting. Tuner glass has been glued on along top and caused some fogging along the top of the tuner window. Battery cover color does not match rest of radio.

Radio works good, all knobs work without problem.

Cassette does not work and is missing plastic cover piece (see pics). The door is also stuck shut.

Original woofers replaced (upgraded) to Lasonic 931 speakers.
Sounds fantastic as big box + big speakers.

The Aux in works and sounds fantastic.

I will ship this double boxed and wrap it very safely it should make the journey well. It will also be insured and with delivery signature.
