*Up for sale here is a very handsome looking western whiskey bottle portraying the Old Judge proposing a toast. This is all nicely embossed on this picture cylindrical fifth. Bottle is in near mint condition, and is sparkling clean. It was never tumbled or pro cleaned. The only very minor issue from keeping this example from being perfectly mint, is a thin onion skin bubble near the base, which is partially open. The pictures tell the best story. It is on the lower left front of the bottle, and is barely noticeable. The color is a rich orange amber, and light passes through the bottle nicely. Bottle has seen no wear. The embossing is very crisp as with the picture. 

*It reads ~ "THE ROTHENBERG CO. / Old Judge Kentucky Whiskey (judge motif) all within a circle / Trade Mark Registered / SAN FRANCISCO / CAL." On the base it carries the western glass house initials of "P C G W ", (Pacific Coast Glass Works). It has the hand finished tooled top, and would date from about 1905 to 1914. This vintage fifth measures 11 1/2 inches tall, and 3 inches in diameter. You will be very well pleased with this awesome pre pro example from the west.
