1977 Vintage Seiko 5 Sport Speedtimer Bullhead 6138-0040 Brown Chronograph Watch

The Bullhead is one of the most unusual, and one of the coolest looking Seiko chronographs

Chronograph watches use the word bullhead as the term that have their crown and chronograph pushers on top of the case rather than on the side resembling the look of the head of a bull with its horns. They have no particular specialty other than in most cases, the company produces them in small numbers.

This 1977 classic automatic Seiko chronograph is running great and keeps good time.

This watch comes in two color combinations, a brownish version with gold sub-registers and a black version with steely blue sub-registers, the original standard bracelet is a folded steel fish-bone style.

The 6138 is the 6139 successor, released one year later and like the 6139 were produced until 1979. The most obvious difference between the two is that the 6138 is a two register chronograph, with an added 12 hour register

Comes on its original Seiko fishbone Z40S bracelet with Seiko signed clasp

These models are getting extremely Collectable because of the buttons sitting at 11 and 1 O'clock also known as Bullhead.

The chronograph works and resets very well. The watch features Seiko Bullhead date adjustment system usually at 6 o'clock position and functions correctly, The Crystal has minor scratches which is not visible to a naked eye and the case is in excellent used condition without any major scratch.

Please be adviced that it is vintage watch and the chronograph registers does reset on 12 as it should but sometimes it requires few clicks
