Antique Cold Painted Bronze Blackamoor Man Holding Shell

This is a wonderful old cold painted bronze blackamoor figure.  This measures 4.5" tall and depicts a kneeling man holding up a sea shell. The paint is mostly very strong still, some blue patina on the base. This may have been used for holding table salt. Wonderful piece, please ask any questions , thank you.
