 Every CD is graded under the following guidelines:

New: Sealed/Flawless

Like New: This is an eBay term under the CD category which we will define further as follows:  "Like New" will mean Near Mint *unless* we are talking about an item with specialized packaging such as a digipak or Japanese mini lp sleeve. In these special cases, Like New will mean flawless. For standard packaging, Like New will mean NEAR Mint. In many cases the item may well be Mint or VERY close. If there are ANY defects, they will be so minor as to be something that we have deemed could even be a part of opening a new CD.

Excellent: Very close to Near Mint. These items under eBay's CD grading guidelines will be stated as "Very Good," but they are better than that under any reasonable guideline and have been noted as such.

Very Good: This condition will surely please nearly every customer. As we list so many CDs, we do not detail every little tab indentation or a tiny start of a half-moon, but these things can be part of inserts in "Very Good" condition and discs may show a few hairlines or minor imperfections.

Good: Inserts in this condition will have considerable wear and should not be purchased by those who perhaps value aesthetic factors highly. Discs in this condition will have significant wear/scratches but will have been tested by us and played through flawlessly.

Acceptable: Typically only the rarest of CDs will even be listed in this condition. Inserts may have water damage/stains. Discs in this condition will be problematic but tested and found to play without error.

PLEASE NOTE:  Extras like inserts, obi strips and so forth should be assumed to be on par with the grade the inserts have received unless otherwise noted.

JEWEL CASES: We do not grade jewel cases. Unless a case is unusual (smooth-sided, etc.) we will replace poor condition cases before mailing. Given the fragility of cases, we do our best within reason to protect them but cannot guarantee them to be completely free of minor cracks and imperfections that may occur in transit. Refunds for broken cases are limited to 25 cents per CD.

Japanese pressings that do not show a picture of an obi strip do not have an obi strip. When obi strips are included, they will always be pictured and noted. Japanese inserts are also noted, but please remember that not all Japanese CDs are issued with a separate insert, so the fact that a CD is not stated to have a Japanese insert almost always means that the CD was not issued with one.
