For sale is an incredibly rare tritium version of the Victorinox Swiss Army SeaPlane, circa 2005. During this period, Victorinox Swiss Army was transitioning from tritium-based lume paint to Luminova. This variant has a tritium dial so it is seen less often than the later guilloche dials.
This watch is a bit ahead of its time and it might be considered a poor man's Ikepode. Consider these design features:
- pod-like watch body
- lugless design (no protruding arms to attach the straps)
- a quick change strap system that uses precision machined parts to lock the 2 styles of pre-curved wristbands to the watch
- very graphic and funky dial design with a green skeletonize arrow and a yellow stick arrow
- Pilot style simple and highly legible numerals and indices
These SeaPlanes, especially this one, are getting hard to find so this is your chance to add a rarity to your collection.
Comes with a small Swiss Army retail box, a black synthetic strap, and a hybrid leather/synthetic strap.
