Curry Seed Co. is headquartered in Elk Point in the southeastern peninsula of South Dakota near Sioux City, Iowa. The company was started in 1935 by J. J. Curry, an alumnus of Iowa State College who began selling newly developed hybridized corn seed to neighbors to test against "bin-run" seed. Dupont/Pioneer acquired an ownership interest in the company in 2008. Patch measures about 2 x 3 inches.
