  • The Rama VIII Bridge : is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand.  It was built to alleviate traffic congestion on the nearby Phra Pinklao Bridge.  Construction of the bridge took place from 1999 to 2002.  The bridge was opened on 7 may 2002 and inaugurated on 20 September, the birth anniversary of the late King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII), after whom it is named.  The bridge has an asymmetrical design, with a single pylon in an inverted Y shape on the west bank of the river.  Its eighty-four cables are arranged in pairs on the side of the main span and in a single row on the other.  The bridge has a main span of 300 meters (980 ft), and was one of the the world's largest asymmetrical cable-stayed bridges at the time of its completion.
  • The Ananta Samkhom Throne Hall : (Thai: Phra Thinang Anantasamakhom): translated as "The palce of immense gathering is a royal reception hall within Dusit Palace in Bangkok, Thailand.  It was commissioned by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in 1908.  The building was completed in 1915, 5 years after Rama V's death in 1910.  It is now employed from time to time for certain state occasions.  Until October 2017, when it indefinitely closed to the public,  the hall was open to visitors as a museum and housed the Arts of the Kingdom exhibition, which showcased handicrafts produced under the sponsorship of the Queen Sirikit Institute.
  • The Chao Phraya River : (Thai: Maenam Chao Phraya), is the major river in Thailand, with its low alluvial plain forming the center of the country.  It flows through Bangkok and then into the Gulf of Thailand.
  • The Temple of Dawn: (Thai: Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan) is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok Yaiditrict of Bangkok, Thailand, on the Thonburi west bank of the Chao Phraya River.  The temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruna, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun.  Wat Arun is among the best known of Thailand's landmark.  The first light of the morning reflects off the surface of the temple with pearly iridescence.  Although the temple has existed since at least the seventeenth century, its distinctive prang (spires) were built in the early nineteenth century during the reign of King Rama II.
  • The Temple of the Emerald Buddha: (Thai: Wat Phra Kaew) commonly know in English as the The Temple of the Emerald Buddha and officially as as Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple (wat) in Thailand.  The Emerald Buddha housed in the temple is potent religio-political symbol and the palladium (Protective image) of Thai society.  It is located in Phra Nakhon district, the historic center of Bangkok, within the precincts of the Grand Palace.
  • The Golden Mount: (Thai: Phu Khao Thong) is a steep artificial hill inside the Wat Saket Compund. 
  • The Democracy Monument: (Thai: Anusawari Prachathipatai) is the public monument in the center of Bangkok, capital of Thailand.  It occupies a traffic circle on the wide east-west Ratchadamnoen Avenue, at the intersection of Dinso Road.  The monument is roughly halfway between Sanam Luang, the former royal cremation ground in front of Wat Phra Kaew (The Temple of the Emerald Buddha), and the temple of the Golden Mount (Phu Kao Thong).
  • Giant Swing : The Giant Swing is a religious structure in Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, Thailand. Located in front of Wat Suthat, it was formerly used in an old Brahmin ceremony, and is one of Bangkok's tourist attractions.
