The unit operates on 4 AAA batteries and/or the optional A/C Adapter (NOT INCLUDED). Easy to install. Instructions and screws are included. Keep your valuables safe and accessible!

4 AAA power the unit with a working battery life of up to 50,000 cycles. If battery life starts to get low, a low voltage alarm will sound to indicate a battery change is necessary. Total battery drainage will result in the lock being unable operate.  Just plug into the micro USB port on the sensor area so you can power the lock so you can open it and change out the batteries. you will never have a locked out situation since you can plug into this micro USB port. Each lock features spring releases that will give the drawer, cabinet etc. a push to open itself (spring release can be removed). Easy to follow setup instructions included will guide you to use the programming prints.  All stress points are reinforced with steel.  No PC necessary

There is also a micro USB port on the bottom of the sensor panel.  You can plug in an external power supply to give it power in case batteries die before you change them out.
