We've undertaken a small run of gear teeth (dog rings) unique to these transmissions:

• 924 type 016/Y and 016/Z, code VA and VB - first, second, and third gears
  
• 924 Turbo / 931 type G31.01 .02 .03 - second and third gears
  

This part has never been available from Porsche or, until now, in the aftermarket, as far as we're aware.

Because the dog ring is not retained with a circlip (as it is for example in a 911's type 915), it lacks a groove that can be used to pull the old one off the gear: it has to be cut off.  We offer removal and installation of the dog ring as a service. We can also provide instructions, but caution that removal can be a bit of a challenge.
