The advantage of this system is that you can aim 150 degree wide angle camera down at the rear bumper, so that this lens would act as your reversing camera. The other 90 degree camera would be aimed straight outwards for rear view, or if you are towing a trailer, it can be aimed to keep an eye on the trailer. This camera could be on whenever you wanted it on and could give you permanent rear vision when you are on the move.
The fibreglass cowl not only looks smart but does offer a lot of protection to the cameras and also makes sure that there is no water ingress through the hole where the cable enters the vehicle.
