This is a short film showing the heat treating process of our bosses.

Description

Our Boss's are locally hand crafted in Bathurst NSW out of 2mm (14 gauge) steel, forged, blackened and sealed with bee's wax. Because our boss's are hand-made, they vary slightly in size with 'forged' blemishes in colour. Every boss is one of a kind.
Our Rivets are made of  solid cold- mild steel, suited for fastening steel boss's to 12mm thick shields. A tight fit, perfect for 1/4" boss holes and 6mm wood holes... Simply force the rivet through the boss & shield's holes, place a M5, M6 or 1/4" washer over the end, hammer/peen the rivet over the washer while bracing.
To finish, slightly heat the rivet and seal with wax, or cold seal with nail polish.
