Alesis QS7.1 OS v1.00 EPROM Firmware KIT [For Maintenance And Repair]

• Version 1.00 is the latest update released by Alesis for the QS7.1 synthesizer.
• Included will be 1 new EPROM chip, which will be labeled accordingly to indicate which IC socket the EPROM is to be installed to.
• The EPROM upgrade chip included in this listing is directly sourced from Alesis during my tenure as a repair technician. These are not copies which are programmed on to so-called “new” EPROM chips of questionable nature.

Please note that the QS7.1 itself is not for sale, only the EPROM chip is.

The EPROM in this listing is only compatible with the QS7.1 and is not to be confused with the QS7. Both are completely separate synthesizer workstations. If you are looking for the regular QS7 upgrade, send me a message and I will be glad to assist you.

Be sure to take note of the marked orientation notch on the side of the EPROM to ensure correct installation. EPROMS inserted backwards will be destroyed. Incorrect insertion of ICs is also likely to cause damage to the board.

All EPROM upgrades have been prepared in an ESD-safe production environment and will be packaged in equally ESD-safe materials.
