The Grizzly Bean Bag has a rugged zipper on the back for fill material. The Grizzly Bean Bag is sold empty. Fill the Grizzly with polystyrene balls, bird seed, split peas, rice, buckwheat hulls, dried beans, or sunflower seeds. Replacing fill every few years is recommended.

The V shape on the bottom of the Grizzly Bean Bag enables the bag to mold to a variety of objects and equipment.

There are two reasons why we sell and ship the Grizzly Bean Bag empty. First, we don’t want our customers to have to pay for the extra cost to fill and ship a bean bag. By the time we add on the cost of the fill and the additional shipping charges for a filled bag, it could be an additional $15-50 depending on your location. We’re prefer to avoid these charges and minimize your out of pocket expenses.

Secondly, we don’t know what you’d like to fill it with! Every photographer uses the bags for different purposes and situations. Some want it extremely light and will fill it with polystyrene. Others prefer to use them as sand bags in addition to camera supports, which may require heavier fill. We thought it best to let you decide what you’d like to fill the bag with so it works best for you!
