In good condition, the boards are loose and there is foxing throughout along with evidence of handling, i.e., fingerprints and so forth. Writing inside front: “Pilgrim’s Progress in Welsh”, “Among the books of Jane R. Williams (WRW Aug 1925)” and on facing page, there is faded “John T Thomas/Book Trenton(?)/April 12 1846” and below that a stamped “J.F. Thomas” which stamp is repeated on next page. There are several tipped in illustrations marked “Harvey” and “Anderson”. There is no date but we estimate the publication as early to mid 1800s, most likely 1830s due to publisher and printer D. Fanshaw’s imprint.
