“Castle Richmond” is the third of five novels by Trollope set in Ireland. While it did not do as well as some of his other novels, it earned him a bigger payment than his earlier novels, thus marking a milestone for the author. The book has some fading to the boards and the spine cover is damaged and lifted at the head. There is foxing throughout. At the rear is an ad for Harper’s Magazine and Harper’s Weekly as well as a full page ad for the Bronte sisters’ works as well as the works of Miss Muloch and Mrs Marsh. There are some dog-eared pages.
