This is a Custom Vinyl Record design of the song “Ghostbusters” by Ray Parker Jr. from the hit 80’s movie of the same name. Artwork is designed on original soundtrack LP’s and 12 inch singles. “Ghostbusters” was and remains a cult comedy classic and 2014 sees the 30th anniversary of the movies original release. In recognition, this artwork design is limited in number to only “30” in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the classic movie.

The 80’s treated us to a wealth of classic movies and Ghostbusters is right up there with the best of them. The film starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson as the main protagonists along with Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis was a global phenomenon at the box office. The films theme song of the same name was written and performed by Ray Parker Jr and introduced us to the classic line “who ya gonna call?” The song was a worldwide success hitting the number one spot in the US and several other countries.

The artwork for this piece is very much inspired by the film itself. Although the design showcases the song’s lyrics there are also some subtle references to some of the key moments in the movie.

This limited edition is a cool, must have piece of artwork for any fan.
