Genuine Real4 Leaf Clover Lucky Charm/Wedding Favour/Purse Wallet Card This is a genuine, hand-picked Four-Leaf clover (Trifolium Repens) found growing wild in the North EastEngland Countryside in 2018. Unlike other clover listed on ebay, they have not been specially home-grown or cultivated. These items are unique and have been found growing naturally in the wild and as such size, shape and colour differs – no two clovers are the same and therefore you are guaranteed an original.

Please note – sometimes, the colour fades during the drying process and some leaves may have slight damage/small holes as they are wild items but this does not detract from the uniqueness of this item. The four leaf clover is an uncommon variation of the common three-leavedclover and according to tradition, such leaves bring Good Luck.

The first is for Faith

The second is for Hope

The third is for Love

The fourth is for Luck.

It has been estimated that there are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover, which makes this item even more special. Clovers can have more than four leaves, but these are rarer still. From time-to-time, I come across five leave clovers (and even rarer still the six leaf clover) andwill list these when I find them. The five leaf clover, known as a rose clover,is considered a particular prize with the additional leaf considered torepresent ‘Money’. History and beliefs connected to the 4-leaf clover: According to Christian legend, Eve is said to have carried a four-leaf clover with her when she left the Garden of Eden. That means that anyone who has one can claim to hold a bit of paradise. According to Irish beliefs, the superstition stems from Druid priests who used the shamrockfor healing the sick, in worship rituals and to ward of evil. In ancient Egypt, when a couple got married it was traditional to give them a four-leafclover which was a blessing of their union and a representation of theirundying love for one another. About this item: This item would make a unique gift for someone to celebrate a wedding, christening, birthday,graduation etc. or as a wedding/hen night favour or simply to wish someone goodluck. Check out my feedback to see what other people think. The cloverhas been dried and then laminated into this lovely purse/wallet card measuring approximately 6 cm by 9 ½ cm. If you have a clear smart phone or IPhone cover, the card would also fit nicely behind your phone. However, I would advise not to keep in direct sun light as this causes the clover to fade even once laminated.
