Pleiades Press was a cottage industry publisher specializing in stationery including blank note cards and postcards. Started in the late 1980's, their cards featured reproductions of classic graphic arts images derived from original magazine covers, calendars, advertisements, and old postcards. 

The material was sourced from a large archive of originals collected by Old Seattle Paperworks, a retail shop in business since 1976 located in Seattle's Historic Pike Place Market. 

These fine art cards were printed in the 1990's and early 2000's by professional printers in the Seattle area. Some of the cards in the line feature gold foil details applied after the color image was printed (those will be noted in auction text). 

The images are not digitally printed, and are of exceptional quality. Pleiades Press is no longer in business and we are in the process of selling what remains of it's inventory. 

There are over 80 different blank note cards and close to 100 different postcard designs. Visit our eBay store for other designs. 

Please note that these cards are out of print and will not be reprinted.  Some of the designs are available in very limited quantities. The cards were photographed against a black board, in full daylight with no artificial light. Please take note: colors in card image may vary depending upon your screen settings.
