Dust jacket has on small tear at head of spine and one small tear at the bottom front cover, hardly visible. No chips. The book is unmarked and the dust jacket is bright. VG+/VG.

The events and ideas are based both on scientific fact and imagination, and the descriptions are accompanied by illustrations by du Bois.
