Chevrolet Performance HD LS2 Style Timing Chain

Chevrolet Performance Heavy Duty Timing Chain  This is a heavy duty single roller chain that uses an improved alloy steel and the sideplates have an increased thickness to improve strength. If your are making cam change or a basic freshen-up on your engine, then you should consider replacing the timing chain.  This chain can be used on all LS engines and can be used with stock gears.

This is the recommended replacement chain when deleting the active tensioner in Gen IV DOD/VVT equipped engines.  This chain will directly replace your OE chain that has been stretched or worn by the original active style tensioner that is often replaced with the static dampener when installing DOD delete kits.
