These authentic, original World War II mechanic's wool blue pants and jumper, and black jumper and bell bottom pants were worn by my stepmother's first husband, Bud Schneider, who I believe haled from New Jersey.  I met him a couple years before he died. His picture wearing this uniform has the notation on the back "2/44 London."  This photograph is included in the price listed. No hat or tie are extant with this collection.  The black jumper has a 3-chevron patch and yellow patch at chest.  Inside it is lined with what looks like black satin, decoratively stitched in rainbow colors in the shape of an anchor.  Rainbow stitch also borders inside collar. Popeye bell bottom pants also have fancy lining stitching, as shown in the last picture with the pants turned inside out. Lining has some reddish discoloration. Black bell pants also have one back side pocket under waistband. Extremely handsome.

All original buttons are in place, and original lacing is still in back of pants.  White trim is in nice condition with some slight small stains. Amazing detail in construction and stitching in these military uniforms.  Terrific and rare provenance to have a picture and name of the seaman who wore them!
