RAID Mode Features / Options
You can only create Two sets of Raid with 2 drives each
* Raid 0 + Raid 1: Creating 2 drives to Raid 0 and 2 drives to Raid 1.
* Raid 0 + 2 x Single Drive: Creating 2 drives to Raid 0 and have 2 single drives.
* Raid 0 + Raid 0: Having two sets of Raid 0 drives.
* JBOD Spanning + Raid 1: Creating 2 drives to JBOD Spanning and 2 drives to Raid 1
* JBOD Spanning + 2 x Single Drive: Creating 2 drives to JBOD Spanning and have 2 single drives.
* JBOD Spanning + Raid 0: Creating 2 drives to JBOD Spanning and have 2 in Raid 0.
* Raid 1 + 2 x Single Drive: Creating 2 drives to Raid 1 and have 2 single drives.
* Raid 1 + Raid 1: Having two sets of Raid 1 drives.
* 2 x Single + 2 x Single: Creating 4 independent drives.
Please check user manual for all possible configuration.
Note: Mediasonic strongly recommend user to install same capacity / model / brand of hard drive if you are using Raid feature. Initial raid set up will erase all the hard drive content please back up your hard drive before the set-up.
