Jean Jansem (1920 - 2013): At the age of 11 Jansem moved to France where he began painting. At the age 18 he graduate from school Arts Deratifs in Paris and his first exhibition was a year lat at the Salon des Independents. Often painting the carnivals of France and Markets of Italy, Jansem has had his paintings exhibited from Tokyo to Rome, Montreal to San Paolo, New York and Los Angeles. His works are held by the Modern Art Museum in Paris and Moscow and by the National Museum in Armenia. It is safe to say that his artworks are adored by the biggest collectors and finest critics alike.
