This classic video was filmed in the mid '90s, with hosts Roger Handy (whose book, Made in Japan: Transistor Radios of the '50s and '60s, had just come out) and Eric Wrobbel, author of several other transistor books. It shows over 100 of the most remarkable radios up close and in full detail. With running commentary by your hosts and a lot of accompanying images such as original boxes, batteries, accessories, and stylish '50s-era atomic age pop-culture treats!

This can best be described as "amateur video" and was formerly available only on VHS tape. We went back to the original sources to digitally remaster this DVD, but it's still "amateur video" and on today's big-screen TVs, that's more obvious than ever. This DVD is region-free and is compatible with DVD players worldwide. NTSC format for North America, etc. (PAL format available for Europe at no extra cost).

1 hour and 43 minutes long.

As mentioned, this is an amateur video. While it looked great on TVs when it was made, it's not up to today's video standards. Still, well worth it for collectors and a lot of fun. Your significant other will think more highly of you and your collecting habits once your relative restraint is seen alongside the obsessed clowns in this video. Price here reflects eBay's ever-increasing fees. Buyers seeking lower pricing may search "Eric Wrobbel books" online.
