In this lot we present a gorgeous miniature coin purse from the late 19-th Century, Europe and particularly England.
The purse is miniature in size, made to hold a couple of coins. The bag is made of knitted fabric stitched to a white metal frame. Tiny Marcasite beads are sewn onto the fabric, giving the purse an intricate Medieval look.
The purse is in very good condition with minor defects. Parts of the stitching at the frame is unwind. There is some rust at the frame where the fabric is stitched to it. Tiny spots on the metal. Please, review the photos.
