Kazuya Sakai was an Argentinian painter who was born in 1927. Their work was featured in numerous exhibitions at key galleries and museums, including the Proa Foundation and the PAAP, Pan American Art Projects. Kazuya Sakai's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging to $81,250 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 1998 the record price for this artist at auction is $81,250 USD for De Natura Sonoris, tríptico, sold at Christie's New York in 2015. In MutualArt’s artist press archive, Kazuya Sakai is featured in How Artist-Run Salón Independiente Challenged the Aesthetic Language of Mexico’s Repressive Government, a piece from the Frieze Magazinein 2019. The artist died in 2001.
